" Laura" Hand-carved Queen Anne Doll, 19th c.

Laura is 18 1/2 inches tall, beautifully hand carved.

She  wears a full-length 2 pc dress over
off-white blouse and petticoat.
Her clothing is exquisite!

Late 19th c. French textile with lovely pattern. Colors are time softened beautifully.

Laura is fully jointed, she has graceful features and
wonderful long torso.

Her bum roll pad sewn in the 18th c. style will help her skirt hang and drape nicely.

The colors of her cloth pocket make a wonderful
contrast with her clothing, dating from around 1880, woven floral on ecru taffeta silk ground with metal thread work.

11" Reproduction Queen Anne Wooden Doll

She is hand carved from linden wood, the head and torso is
a single piece, she is jointed at the shoulders, elbows,
hips and knees. The hand carving and clothing are exquisite.

Here a close-up of her cotton petticoat, Victorian Era English trim with a rare and lovely spider web pattern.

Her dress is made from a rare and beautiful example
of 18th century textile.
Block-printed cotton chintz with a gorgeous tiny floral pattern.

This late18th century textile that I used for making her
cloth pocket is linen embroidered with silk
threads ( Hertfordshire, UK)
